Ms. Christen

Ms. Christen is a piano and guitar teacher at the Piano and Guitar institute. She has been playing piano and guitar for much of her life, but her primary instrument is the cello. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing new concepts and ideas click in students’ heads which enables them to become stronger musicians.

In addition to teaching music, her background is in both music therapy and early childhood education. She has helped students of all ages and ability levels build skills across domains and become more confident and independent through her teaching.

Ms. Christen enjoys all types of music, but is partial to Broadway shows and Taylor Swift. Outside of music, her main hobby is reading. She read over 120 books last year! In her free time, she also enjoys taking dance workout classes.
