Ms. Pittman

Piano Teacher

Ms. Pittman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Chicago Musical College, a part of Roosevelt University, in Chicago, IL, and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance with a Minor in Organ Performance from Kansas State University, in Manhattan, KS. With over 30 years of teaching experience, she started playing the piano at the early age of 5 and also played the violin from ages 8 to 13. Despite being in 8th grade, she was appointed as the concertmistress for the High School orchestra.


During her Bachelor's and Master's degrees, Ms. Pittman performed two-piano music and gave recitals in Chicago and back home in Hawaii. At the time, she accompanied recitals for vocalists and instrumentalists and classes for opera and ballet. As a graduate assistant, she taught orchestration and conducting.


Ms. Pittman previously taught general music for pre-K through 8th grade all while maintaining a private studio. Additionally, she has served as Director of Music and Liturgy at several churches.
